DAY 3: EVERYTHING CONFUCIUS

Qufu, the hometown of the greatest teacher of all time, Confucius.

Today, the pupils learned about Confucius. The three main highlights of the day were the Confucius Temple, the Confucius Residence and the Cemetary of the Kong family.

A typical gift shop by the roadside.

The pupils mastered a very important skill today - haggling! Some of them could haggle so well that even the teachers were impressed.

The pupils were definitely very proud of their purchases. We went back to the hostel after lunch in high spirits! Two more fun-filled days to go!

Hi all,

It's nice to see all of you again.how's your outdoor activities? some of you look tired, probably due to the long hour walking? To me, it looks fun-filled.

Missing home? Hope not, because left 2 more days of fun only. Take good care while enjoying your trip. Look forward to receiving all of you at the airport on Wed.

P/S: Clara, I supposed you were ok climbing the Tai Shan...Any cough and asthma? Hope not.

P/S: Salute to all teachers who take great effort looking after the kids and keeping us well informed. You all deserve a big big hug from the kids (only after their shower when they all smell good......hahaha)

with Love,
Yeok Han, Janice & Corliss (Clara's Family)
